Summer isn't ending anytime soon, but sports are coming and why not be prepared in advance for your soon to be athlete or for the return to school. Don't miss out on these opportunities to get physicals and exams done early! Check out the Tazewell County Health Dept. for appts or make it even more fun by getting these tasks checked off at a Summertime Block Party on June 13th.

Any 5th-8th grade students interested in the softball team for the 24-25 school year - please make a note of tryouts. They will be held at Beverly Manor on Monday, July 29th and Tuesday, July 30th from 8:30-11:30 a.m. If you are interested in trying out for pitching or catching - please arrive for tryouts at 8:00 a.m. each day. Please note - you must have a current sports physical on file to try out.
BIG THANK YOU to our Veteran Greeters this year! These amazing individuals were there on Thursday's to high five or fist bump our kiddos as they entered the building! Summer EBT is a federally funded program that provides grocery buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. The summer EBT benefit is $120 per eligible student for summer 2024. The Illinois Department of Human Services administers EBT with the assistance from the Illinois State Board of Education. Is your child ready for the following school year? Kindergarten, second grade, and sixth grade have health requirements that are due PRIOR to the first day of the 24/25 school year. Start scheduling those appointments now. Tazewell County Health Department has listed the specific requirements as well as their information on vaccines and school physical clinics.
