Good evening Wildcat Family - we just wanted to let everyone know that District 50 PTC will be holding a donation fundraiser. All donations go to help support classroom and student needs, help facilitate field trips for enriching experiences for our students, and show our continued appreciation to staff, teachers, and our wonderful community! This fundraiser will take place from Monday, October 2nd - Friday, November 3rd. Students can earn a variety of prizes for donations received including a "Wildcat Day of Fun" in the spring, and even the principals have offered a special prize level for total donations for the district. Keep an eye out for information to come home. Thank you in advance for your support Wildcats!

We are specifically collecting this data to assist the City of Washington with their grant application to secure funding to complete a sidewalk in our school district as part of the Illinois Safe Routes to School Grant Program.

Attention Beverly Manor parents : At this time, both cross country practice and the boys baseball game for tonight 9/11 have been cancelled. All athletes are to report home like normal. Cross country parents please check dojo for a supplemental workout for your athletes. We are hoping to reschedule the baseball game against Robein, and will update when we have more information. Boys Basketball Open Gyms will start next week on Monday, September 11th. Open gyms are for any 5th-8th grade boys interested in the basketball team for the 2023-2024 season. The first open gym will be from 4:30-6:00 at Beverly Manor. Please click the link below for the remaining open gym times for the month of September. Please keep in mind that if you are planning to try out, you must have a current sports physical on file before tryouts.

WOW, Wildcats!! Thanks to your generous snack donations, John L. Hensey collected over 2,000 individually wrapped snacks. We were able to fill up containers for each classroom to use with students who sometimes forget a snack.
Special congratulations to 3rd grade who won the first School Snack Off. Because they brought in 1,158 snacks, they earned the traveling trophy for the month and special prize on Friday! Great work!
Attention Wildcat Families, we are excited to let everyone know that there will be a District 50 Parent Teacher Club meeting held on Thursday, September 7th at 6:30 p.m. in the Beverly Manor library. This meeting is open to everyone who would love to know more about what D50 PTC does each year for our students, staff, families and community. This is also a great way to get involved with the school, have an opportunity to volunteer, and help raise funds for student, classroom, and teacher needs. We hope to see many of you there!
A big congratulations to Alex Linnemann and Jonah Rose for their performances at some local Cross Country Invitationals this past week. On Tuesday at the Panther Invitational in Washington Jonah placed 16th, and Alex placed 7th. On Thursday at the Mini-Illini Invitational at Pekin Jonah placed 20th and Alex placed 8th. Great job to our cross country team and all who participated! #wildcatpride 🏅🏅🏅🏅
