DISTRICT 50 SHUTTLE BUS STOP LOCATION CHANGE - MONDAY Parents of D50 SHUTTLE BUS RIDERS: Please be advised that our Shuttle Bus Stop has been changed as of MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23. The NEW LOCATION: CORNER OF E. BITTERSWEET & BRIARGATE ROAD (@ the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church) will be used starting on Monday. Bus riders will need to arrive a few minutes early and be ready to board the shuttle bus at 7:41 AM from the corner of E Bittersweet & Briargate Road. The same expectations will apply for bus riders waiting at our bus stops (arrive on time; behave with respect to others in general and specifically for the property/area around the stop). The bus will continue to pick-up Latchkey students at approximately 7:46 AM before heading to Beverly Manor. Student safety continues to be our top priority. The bus stop changes are being made with safety in mind. Thank you! D50 Families, get ready for fun! Next week our students will be celebrating along with WCHS for Homecoming Week! View our district-wide Spirit Week days so you don't miss out! Friday, September 27th is also an early dismissal day. Manor students will be dismissed at 11:00 am and Hensey at 11:30. (Lunch is not served on half days for students). In other news, the Harlem Wizards will be in Eureka soon and if you like basketball mixed with choreography, Dr. Sharp will be playing against them on Oct. 3rd at Eureka College for an athletics fundraiser.

American Heart Association Grant....More Information! I am grateful to @AmericanHeart for awarding us the Kids Heart Challenge Grant! It means our school was recognized for making whole-body wellness a priority! We received $1,484 which will go towards a 7 hole Disc Golf course for our PE program! Can not wait to unbox everything and start our unit this spring! Go to heart.org/Schools to learn more about the American Heart Association!

Congratulations to our XC runners for another great Washington City Meet last night. We had two top 10 finishers....8th grader Jonah Rose at 3rd place and 5th grader Mason Joos at 7th place! Another great day to be a Wildcat!!
