The Kids Konnected program offers a safe place for children and teens to share feelings and concerns and to ask questions about their loved one’s cancer. The meetings and activities are facilitated by a master’s level professional that helps children, teens, and adults share their feelings and receive support from others

Hensey parents- All bus 55 riders will ride Bus 22 today (with Bus 55 riders) due to a driver shortage. Please be aware that there may be delays in drop off times for Bus 55 and Bus 22 riders today due to combining the routes.
Manor parents: Bus 44 - Farmdale route will be delayed this afternoon for approx. 30 minutes for Manor students due to a driver shortage. Students will wait in the Manor library for the bus to pick them up. Hensey riders are not expected to be affected by this delay.

It is the final week to register for the Healthy Neighborhoods, Healthy Minds event provided by the United Way and hosted at Beverly Manor School. We welcome parents, caregivers, teachers, and more from any surrounding districts or communities to come and learn about how we can better support the needs of our youth. Boys Basketball Open Gyms: Tuesday, 10/15 from 3-4:30pm and Friday, 10/18 from 3-4:30pm. Tryouts will be held on Monday 10/21 and Tuesday 10/22 from 3-5pm. Sports physicals must be on file in the nurse's office prior to tryouts and registration on our athletic website completed.

Lost and Found Procedure
If you notice that you student comes home without an item please have them come into the office to see if it is in the office. We are starting to notice more and more items being brought into the office and would really like to find their homes.
We would like to let all Hensey Parents know that we will be keeping all of the lost and found in the front office for 1 month. If the items are not claimed by the end of each month the items will be donated.
Mrs. Lambert‘s friends have been learning all about pumpkins and apples in preparation for their field trip to Tanners! Did you know they are both a fruit?
We are up in the double-digits in attendees for our Healthy Minds, Healthy Neighborhoods event.
What is HMHN?
-It is a two part event (or one if you cannot make both)
-You receive a free meal and benefit from discussion with families, teachers, and community leaders about ways to help our children learn how to form strong relationships, make friends, communicate with others, and resolve conflicts.
-Anyone is free to register to attend
